tood as a space that goes beyond a peers’
conversation; it is a space for constituting science, in which
it becomes a privileged place permeated by a dialogue
between science and society; it is a space that will bring
together the knowledge produced by science and that
disseminated in practice and in the social imaginary.
Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Vitória Superior
School of Sciences is celebrating its 55th anniversary this
year, 2023, and over the years has always believed in the
importance of scientific dissemination, emphasizing that
the community should not remain closed in its world of
specialists; it is necessary to take a stand and participate in
the public debate and, for this reason, the school already
has in the curriculum of its courses the appreciation of
scientific dissemination, which is consolidated through
incentives for publications, organization of scientific
events, among other means.
